My name is Jamie, and I’m a Product Designer based in Edinburgh with experience creating user-centred digital products across Healthcare, Finance, Streaming, SaaS, and other industries. I’ve worked with organisations ranging from established enterprises to growing startups, helping shape products that balance user needs with business objectives.
Creativity has always been at the heart of what I do. From painting and drawing to playing drums in a rock band and later becoming an author, I’ve spent much of my life exploring different forms of storytelling and expression. These experiences ultimately led me to product design, a discipline that combines creativity, problem-solving, and empathy to create meaningful experiences.
Throughout my career, I’ve contributed to large-scale projects for organisations including Hearts FC, Atos, NUMA Oxygen, and others. Working across the full product lifecycle, I collaborate closely with stakeholders, researchers, developers, and business teams to transform complex challenges into intuitive, engaging solutions. My approach combines user research, interaction design, visual design, and content strategy to deliver products that create value for both users and organisations.
My background as an author has also shaped the way I think about design. At their core, both storytelling and product design are about guiding people through an experience. Every interaction, decision, and touchpoint contributes to a larger journey. While designers help define the path, success comes from creating experiences that feel natural, engaging, and valuable to the people using them.
Every product has a story to tell. I help teams uncover that story and bring it to life through thoughtful, user-centred design.
